REFLEXOLOGY is a type of hands-on work that maps out reflexes to the whole body on the feet, hand and ears. By pressing specific areas on the feet/hands/ears each organ, gland and body part is affected. Who is this for? It is a “natural” for massage therapists, cosmetologists, manicurists, health professionals and anyone else wishing to practice an effective and well respected holistic modality. The technique can stand alone, but easily integrates into other therapy sessions. This program is for serious students of Reflexology. What do I get when done? Upon successful completion of the program you will be prepared to practice Reflexology on a professional level. You will become a Certified Professional Reflexologist and ALSO be well prepared to sit for the national exam given by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB). This organization sets the national educational standards in the field. What is the time frame? The training is divided into eight levels or weekends, three to four weeks apart. Each level consists of Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday. The intervals between sessions provide enough time to practice and prepare for the following level. The entire program takes approximately 8 months. |
