450 Hour, Seventeen Month Certificate Program
THE PRACTICE OF HERBAL MEDICINE is a wonderful way to combine ancient knowledge with modern scientific validation of our botanical bounty. We are excited to offer a comprehensive cross-cultural program in herbal medicine. Combining Eastern and Western herbs is a trend of the future. There is much to be learned from both these cultures and for the westerner, Chinese herbs cannot be utilized to their full advantage without an understanding of the principles of Chinese medicine.
Who is this for? The program is designed for anyone interested in entering the growing field of botanical medicine and who is serious about becoming a professional herbalist.
What do I get when done? Upon successful completion of the program you will become a Certified Master Herbalist.. You will have a good understanding of herbal medicine from the western and eastern traditions and will be able to function as a clinical practitioner of herbal medicine on a professional level or to enter the herbal industry in other areas.
What is the time frame? This certificate program meets approximately every third weekend, all day Saturday and Sunday for 17 months.
